Starbucks to Keep Breakfast Sandwiches

I have to admit, I don’t go to Starbucks as much as I used to. Between Java One in my Senseo, and McDonalds getting coffee right (and then getting lattes right)… Starbucks was losing my business.

Please, spare your Starbucks is Evil comments. They’re a business like any other. But, they weren’t changing with the times. Breakfast was the exception to the rule. Their breakfast sandwiches were much better (for you) than the competition. No trans fat, reduced fat options. Needless to say, I was ticked off when Starbucks announced in January that they were being killed off by year’s end.

Thankfully, they’ve staged a rare comeback. Starbucks found that by making small ingredient changes, the aroma of coffee around the shop could be preserved. And, so breakfast is here to stay at Starbucks.

And, with the AT&T Wi-Fi deal, anyone with a prepaid Starbucks card will soon be able to get two free hours of Wi-Fi at every store. There’s a lot of confusion about that, since it won’t take effect until your store has been transitioned from T-Mobile over to AT&T. All the stores are supposed to be transitioned by 2009.

Now, Starbucks, where’s my Tazo Citrus Frappuccino?
