In case you haven’t heard from the rest of the web, Best Buy has posted a few more deals, after the lukewarm response to their initial offering. Now, this actually isn’t a case of consumer feedback… Best Buy was holding these deals back all along.
Still, the deals aren’t that great here either. Almost all of them are doorbusters that you have to be camping out upwards of 24 hours in advance (yes, it has become an arms race outside of almost every store… camp out at the same time as you did the year before, and you’re much farther back in line).
And, by not great, I mean, practically unchanged from last year. Exact same HDTV models offered last year at $100 less. The $199 PC has been upgraded to including a 17-inch LCD, and the Toshiba $299 laptop has a slightly-larger hard drive. In other words, you’re paying the same for technology a year older… and Best Buy is probably not hemorrhaging cash on the deals anymore.
Here’s the full list… enjoy the cold cold night ahead of you. Be sure to combine it with the Black Friday ad for all the deals.
